YOU GUYS! The National Book Festival is back for their 18th year in a row. It’s happening over Labor Day Weekend, on Saturday, September 1st at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. It’s a free event and open to the public. An all day ordeal, with author presentations and book signings, from 9:30AM through 6:45PM. So fun!
18th Annual Library of Congress National Book Festival
There will be nine different stages set up with author presentations ranging from children’s authors, to teen, historical, fiction, etc. Oh and each author is conducting a book signing after their presentation — which is always such an exciting part!
PRESENTATIONS I PLAN TO SEE
I really want to attend the presentations given by Jeffery Eugenides, Min Jin Lee, and Celeste Ng, and of course to get my books signed as well! Though, each of these talks is very spread out throughout the day, so if I can only go to one… it would be Celeste Ng. I can’t wait to listen to her speak, she’s one of my favorites. I’m bringing both of her books to the event for signing.
That’s really all I have to say about the event, other than I’m super pumped to attend. I’ve been out of town or unable to go the last few years in a row, so again, very excited!
Pssst! Additional details including the schedule here!
