With winter just around the corner, it’s time for another round-up of seasonal nail polishes. This year we’ve seen of many nail trends come and go. (Single dots, clean lines, gradient, the ‘new’ French manicure, etc.) Not to mention the fabulous colors that won the hearts of many designers. This season in particular has a vast pool of wonderful picks. However, I’m here today to share with you my top five picks for Winter colors.
TOP FIVE WINTER 2016 NAIL COLORS
seafoam green.
The most unorthodox color choice for a winter hue, but I have to say, it seems to bring some light and unexpected warmth into an otherwise chilly timeframe. For whatever reason, a Seafoam Green is a YES. Which works out well for me and my ever growing collection.
dove grey.
I love a grey nail. Especially with having such a fair skintone, a warm grey truly does contrast so nicely. And grey tones pair well with just about everything, and any color in a cold weather wardrobe.
cranberry.
As much as I love a grey nail, cranberry is another color that has my heart in the winter months. Between Thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE, and Valentines Day, you’d be silly not to embrace such a rich, dark, sultry, and striking color. Enough said?
nude.
Nudes are great and oh so classy because of their minimalism effect and the simplicity of it. Whenever in doubt, I go for a nude color. You simply can’t go wrong with it. A top choice all year round. However, this season — they have become a thing and I couldn’t be more excited.
navy.
Blue is my favorite color — in particular, a rich navy. It’s made the cut this year for ‘in’ color, and I can’t wait to alternate shades of navy into my nail color rotation. They’re fun and playful, and can be pulled off with the right outfit.
And that wraps up the Top 5 for Winter Nails. What are some colors that you’re really excited to wear this season?
